What does health and well-being mean?
The dictionary defines 'health' as the general condition of the body and mind and 'well-being' as the state of being contented and healthy. Good personal health and well-being could be described 'as a healthy body free from lifestyle disease and a contented, satisfied state of mind.
What are lifestyle diseases?
Lifestyle diseases are diseases associated with the way a person or group of people live their lives. Lifestyle diseases include obesity, heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, diseases associated with smoking, drugs, alcohol, stress, anxiety, hypertension and high cholesterol. Lifestyle diseases are often preventable.
Who should be concerned about their health?
Anyone who is over or under-weight, has a poor diet or irregular eating patterns, has disturbed sleep, seldom exercises, suffers from stress, anxiety or mood swings, suffers with low self-esteem, or has body image issues, or no motivation, confidence or has a lack of energy or focus.
Why use a coach or facilitator?
People and businesses constantly experience a mix of influences that can impact personal and business performance, using a coach or facilitator can help a person or business move from where they are now to where they want to be, more quickly and effectively, thus saving them time and money.

In what format are your programmes delivered??
Our programmes typically consist of 8 weekly workshops, each lasting one and a half hours. Each session focuses on a specific topic. Each session aims to provide participants with: relevant knowledge, skills and support; sufficient time to absorb and embed their new knowledge and skills. The maximum group size is 12 people. Sessions can be adapted to suit individual group requirements.

I don't have the time to worry about my health and well-being
There are 24 hours in a day, 8 hours for sleeping and 16 hours for everything else - you choose how you spend your time. Our programmes will help you prioritise your life so that you can decide what to do and what to say NO to.
